A departmental sports committee is responsible for representing the national federation at the departmental level. It contributes to the implementation of federal policy and carries out public service missions, organization and development of practices in the field of swimming (Competitive Swimming, Open Water Swimming, Cold Water Swimming, Water Polo, Diving and Artistic Swimming, as well as practices related to Masters activities, Health Swimming, summer activities, recreational activities, discovery activities and aquatic leisure). It is responsible for implementing the ENF (French Swimming School) which includes Water Confidence, Learning to Swim and various government programs.
