The League is an independent association recognized as being in the public interest. It is France's leading private funder of cancer research. The League fights against cancer before, during, and after the illness in three complementary areas: research; information and promotion of screening; and support for patients and their families. The Tarn Committee is made up of around thirty volunteers from various professional backgrounds. The president is Dr. Annie CLOTTES, a retired oncologist.
