Colecosol Grand Est

Colecosol is the Collective for the Promotion of Fair Trade and Responsible Consumption. Our association was founded informally around twenty years ago in Strasbourg. In January 2001, Colecosol became formally established as an association and has had branches in Alsace and Lorraine since 2017. The collective comprises around fifty active members from the non-profit sector, the business world, and individuals. Our objective: Our goal is to raise consumer awareness about the impact of their consumption on the living conditions of producers and craftspeople in countries of the Global South and North, and to encourage them to turn towards more socially and environmentally responsible alternatives. Our areas of action: Our association offers advice, training, and support to any association, business, school, or local authority wishing to commit to a responsible approach. Our means of action are: information, outreach, prospecting, and advocacy. We carry out several types of projects by informing and raising awareness about fair trade issues.
