Our Troyes Handisport Club has taken on the mission of offering people with motor and/or sensory disabilities a range of adapted sports. We provide free access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities that allow for recreational or competitive sports practice (at national level) in complete safety. Our team of volunteers is trained by the French Handisport Federation. We also provide a transportation service to facilitate access to sports for our members. The sports offered are: wheelchair football, wheelchair basketball, boccia, swimming, table tennis, and cycle touring. In partnership with the Aube Handisport Committee, we promote handisport to the general public through actions, events, trips, and interventions in institutions, businesses, local authorities, schools, and more. A sports school (multi-sport activity on Wednesday afternoons) is offered to children from Troyes and the surrounding area with disabilities. The Troyes Handisport Club, with 18 years of activities behind it, continues to develop year after year. The volunteers are predominantly parents, family caregivers, and friends of club members.
