The Coordination Autonomie Association works to combat the isolation of elderly people. About fifteen volunteers carry out courtesy visits to people's homes in the Saumur Val de Loire area. Spending an afternoon talking, having a coffee, going for a walk together, playing games, reminiscing, reading or delivering books, and many other activities tailored to each person's needs and preferences. Giving one's time, feeling useful, and also learning from others. Visits are supervised, with regular exchange times with the association, and training is available.
