A regional resource center. The CMLO team has been developing in-depth work on knowledge and application of international oral heritage for over 25 years. Since 1997, the CMLO has provided numerous training programs and built a thematic collection that makes it possible to consider oral literature in its interdisciplinary dimension. Throughout the year, our organization offers storyteller performances, conferences, symposiums and participates in research programs, publishes or co-publishes articles. Its educational department develops projects for all school levels. The regional resource center is now recognized by the Occitanie Region, the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DRAC Occitanie), the Gard Departmental Council, Alès Agglomeration and the municipality of Alès.
