CENTRE D'ACTIVITES CULTURELLES ET DE LOISIRS - CACEL

CACEL—Centre for Cultural Activities and Leisure—is an association that has been committed for 40 years to artistic education across numerous disciplines, whether through initial training in accredited artistic practice, workshops connected to Corsican heritage and culture, or periodic artistic internships. In 2020, the renewal of CACEL's board of directors gave the association fresh momentum. It is now presided over by Michaël Graziani. CACEL plays a driving role in social cohesion in the territory and pursues an active policy toward young people, particularly those in situations of social and cultural precarity. The association is a signatory to the territorial charter for musical and artistic education and is recognized as such as a "territorial hub for initial training in artistic practice." It has also been a partner of the Henri Tomasi Conservatory with departmental reach since 2021. The association has been approved as "Youth and Popular Education" and as a "Social Living Space" by the Southern Corsica Family Allowance Fund (CAF) in 2022.
