CDAFAL

The CDAFAL, whose 'primary mission is to promote, defend, and represent the interests of families living in French territory,' intervenes mainly in consumer affairs (defense of individuals' interests and their living environment) and education: parenting support and assistance, literacy efforts, promoting integration through culture and knowledge development. The association welcomes and supports people in great difficulty, regardless of their personal situation (in a relationship, single, parents), and provides them with necessary administrative, material, educational, or even psychological assistance. It represents them, among others, to the Union of Family Associations (UDAF) and the Alsace Consumer Board (CCA). Its main objectives are: Educational use of free time; culture development; spreading culture and knowledge, fighting illiteracy and digital illiteracy; support for parenting; defense of families' and individuals' interests; fighting discrimination and radicalization; prevention against sectarian drift; defense of living environment, housing, and protection of nature and the environment.
