Perched on one of the hillsides overlooking the valleys carved by rivers flowing down from the Lannemezan plateau, the village of Castelnau-Magnoac stands at an elevation of 385 meters, offering a view of a masterpiece painted by nature: the lake and verdant hills in the foreground, and the blue mountain range of the Pyrenees in the distance. As the capital of the Magnoac canton, our village lies at the border of three departments (Hautes-Pyrénées, Gers, and Haute-Garonne), and near the towns of Lannemezan (25 km), Tarbes, Auch, or Saint-Gaudens (approximately 40 km) and Toulouse and Pau (approximately 90 km).
