Since 2018, Caracol has been developing shared housing projects throughout France in temporarily vacant buildings. Our conviction is that housing can be a remarkable lever for inclusion when it enables people from different backgrounds to live together, create connections, and support each other on a daily basis. The shared accommodations offered by Caracol are therefore solidarity-based, intercultural, and temporary, and are currently present in the Île-de-France region, Lyon, Tours, Rennes, Bordeaux, and Nantes.
