The BVVJ association was created on the initiative of elected officials and residents of Saint Bonnet de Joux in order to offer elderly people in the area solutions that enable them to age well in their community. To this end, the association manages a residential facility for elderly persons (the Val de Joux Residence), a community hub offering activities for residents, village inhabitants, and elderly people throughout the territory in an intergenerational dynamic, as well as home-based services such as meal delivery and minor home repairs.
