La Banque alimentaire a un double objectif : éviter le gaspillage et apporter une aide alimentaire aux plus démunis. Les denrées collectées sont réparties dans différentes associations, centres communaux d'action sociales, mairies, épiceries sociales, qui vont les redistribuer aux plus précaires. Une trentaine de partenaires travaillent avec la BA de Loir-et-Cher.
