Autremonde is a solidarity association that fights against indifference and exclusion. Created in 1994, it is today a major player in the north-east Paris region. Autremonde advocates for everyone to reclaim their place in social space so that society is fully aware of the value of its diversity. Its primary mission is to rebuild and maintain social connection with anyone experiencing isolation, precarity, or migration. A team of 350 volunteers and 6 employees contribute to a dynamic of solidarity: – Foster social connection among all – Guarantee access to rights – Share governance The participation of those served is at the heart of the project. Activities are designed and implemented through the skills and interests of each person. People experiencing precarity and migration are elected to the board of directors.
