The Valentin Haüy Association (AVH), recognized as serving the public interest for 135 years with its headquarters in Paris, works in service to people who are blind or visually impaired. Our Western Alpes-Maritimes Committee operates across three metropolitan areas: CASA Antibes Sophia-Antipolis, Cannes Pays de Lérins, and Pays de Grasse. Our mission is to help people with visual impairments maintain their daily independence, overcome their isolation, and rediscover an active and joyful social life. We welcome with empathy all people in need of our services. We offer administrative and legal advice, essential training on digital tools and specialized software for visual impairment. Our outings to exhibitions, theater performances, and readings in cafés are renowned for their high quality. Sports enthusiasts appreciate our tandem cycling, coastal walking, rowing activities, and our hiking trips.
