Founded in September 2019 and based in Sarthe (72), the Sowly association is dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and facilitating responsible adoption of cats and small dogs. Operating as a mini-shelter, the organization intervenes for abandoned or mistreated animals by prioritizing an approach grounded in ethology, prevention, and respect for their fundamental needs. The care provided is comprehensive and rigorous, including medical treatment, sterilization, identification, and vaccination before placement in adoptive families. Beyond providing shelter, Sowly works to find each animal a suitable family and raises public awareness about animal welfare, thereby ensuring a serious and responsible process for the cats and small dogs it takes in.
