The association "Les Passionnés du Bois Ile de France" is an association governed by the 1901 law. The association was created in 1993 on the initiative of Bouvet and brings together approximately 300 members from throughout the Ile-de-France region, who share their interest and passion for woodworking in all its forms. The association's objectives are: To develop and transmit knowledge and the practice of woodworking; To share the passion for wood, promote its use and craftsmanship, exchange information and techniques, identify and preserve traditional and modern methods as well as showcase modern woodworking practices to enthusiasts; To share the pleasure that woodworking brings and enrich our skills through the exchange of ideas, pooling of expertise and experiences; To broaden our areas of interest through contributions from participants coming from different backgrounds. Moreover, the friendly nature of these exchanges creates a welcoming atmosphere conducive to communication between people of different ages, origins and backgrounds.
