Association Fab'At

The Fab'At Association has opened a Third Place for everyone in Valence: Fabrico. Fabrico brings together a Public Digital Space, a Fablab, offices and shared workshops in one location. The Fabrico fablab is a place for creation, sharing, learning, and discovery with 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, and repair cafés to fix everyday objects and combat overconsumption, while developing projects through prototyping. People will learn to do things themselves rather than have them done for them. The space is run by a Fab coordinator as well as volunteers with varied skills. Fabrico's Public Digital Space is open to everyone to help reduce the digital divide and support people who want to become more independent with digital tools. People can come to receive free training in digital skills in general and in computing thanks to the courses offered, and complete online administrative tasks with support from Digital Advisors.
