The association of gendarme cadets of Haute-Vienne aims to promote the values of citizenship and to organize or participate in commemorative events. It is intended for young French or foreign people aged 16 to 18 years old, residing and studying in the Haute-Vienne department. Its objective is to introduce them to the professions of the gendarmerie, its values, its organization, its missions and its personnel, through immersion days within these units. It also enables the discovery and organization of a judicial court and prefectural services. Following the suspension of the SNU, the association also aims to participate in strengthening the Army-Nation bond and to develop civic spirit.
