Association des Cadets de la Gendarmerie de Charente-Maritime

The association aims to present the professions of the gendarmerie to young people aged 15 to 17 who are enrolled in 10th or 11th grade. Activities are centered on the Army-Nation connection, Memory and Citizenship, Cohesion, and all themes that can contribute to civic education. The focus is on the gendarmerie in all its dimensions but also draws on all types of expertise, including the judicial court. Cohorts are created on a voluntary basis, exclusively in Charente-Maritime. They are organized with an initial 5-day residential period followed by thematic sessions spread over 12 months, primarily during school holidays, including attendance at official commemorative ceremonies.
