A.P.E.R.S is a non-profit association under the 1901 French law, accredited by the Ministry of Justice and authorized by the judicial courts of Aix-en-Provence and Tarascon. It operates geographically across the entire jurisdiction of these two courts for victim support services and within the jurisdiction of the Aix-en-Provence court for judicial activity services. The association is competent to provide care for victims across 97 municipalities that make up 119 municipalities in Bouches-du-Rhône, serving approximately over 900,000 residents. A.P.E.R.S Association consists of: Support for more than 8,000 victims annually, of which 800 in emergency situations. Care for 3,500 defendants involved in criminal proceedings. Teams of professionals who are committed and share the conviction of a public service mission and social utility, seeking the highest qualitative efficiency.
