The educational situation of many children in suburban areas represents a major challenge for French society. To help address this challenge, the Espérance banlieues network has created 17 schools in priority neighborhoods since 2012. Guided above all by pragmatism and confidence in children's abilities, the educational teams are committed to each student to give them self-esteem and a taste for success. The pedagogy there is structured through methods adapted to the child's pace. Inaugurated in September 2016, Cours Charles Péguy currently welcomes 79 students spread across 7 classes from first to eighth grade.
