The Gendarmerie Cadets Association of Mayenne is tasked with training young people aged 15 to 18 who live and attend school in the Mayenne department, in order to promote the values of citizenship, commitment and service. It enables them to discover the gendarmerie, its values, its missions, its professions and its personnel, while developing a better understanding of the Armed Forces and their role in service to the Nation. Through a collective project, cadets strengthen their team spirit, sense of responsibility and civic engagement. They also participate in prevention activities and events related to remembrance of duty, thereby contributing to strengthening the bond between the Armed Forces and the Nation. Finally, the association supports young people who wish to prepare for gendarmerie entrance examinations and offers them a rewarding experience, promoting their integration, personal development and social advancement.
