Association C.H.E.V.A.L.

The C.H.E.V.A.L. Association (Accommodation Centre for Veteran Equines Languedoc Branch) is an organization dedicated to the protection, care, and welfare of equines in distress. Since our founding in 1992, our mission has been to rescue, care for, and give a second chance to abandoned, abused, or endangered horses, ponies, and donkeys. With the help of our team, we currently house nearly 145 equines at our sanctuary, where they rediscover the safety, freedom, and love they deserve. Every day, we work toward their rehabilitation, whether physical or emotional, in respect of their specific needs. Our activities rely solely on the solidarity and generosity of our members, donors, sponsors, and patronesses. Without any government subsidies, every contribution, whether financial or voluntary, plays a crucial role in ensuring the sustainability of our sanctuary and the quality of life of our residents. Our commitment: to protect, support, and raise awareness. Our hope: a world where every equine can live in peace and dignity. If you share our values, join us in writing together a better future for these remarkable companions.
