ASSOCIATION AIDE FAMILIALE POPULAIRE

1 mission available

The Popular Family Aid Association (AAFP) was created at the end of the Second World War with the aim of helping and supporting families in difficult circumstances. Over the years, the association has developed its services with a multidisciplinary team (social and family intervention technicians, care assistants, childcare workers and housekeeping aides) in order to meet the needs of the Cherbourg population from birth to end of life. The values upheld by the association are solidarity, mutual aid as well as respect for and freedom of each person's choices. The AAFP currently has over 110 employees. Volunteers are tasked with representing the association to its funders and partners, developing the association's strategy so that it can adapt to changes in the territory and society, and developing its communication.
