ARPEJ Lyon Métropole

ARPEJ stands for "Supporting Parents and Young People Towards Success" (https://arpej-asso.fr/). We are an educational support association. Driven by a commitment to compensating for inequality of opportunity, ARPEJ proposes to prepare young people for their academic milestones while respecting each person's individuality, the plurality of beliefs, and the diversity of behaviors. Our goal is to guide them towards academic success, a springboard for a fulfilling and generous adult life. ARPEJ serves young people from disadvantaged families by offering personalized after-school academic support to help them overcome specific difficulties and catch up on delays, acquire effective study methods, and work efficiently. We also aim to open young people to culture so they can better know themselves, better understand the world, and find their place in it. Support and activity sessions are led with a constant focus on building or rebuilding confidence in children and young people. There are 8 ARPEJ locations in France. ARPEJ Lyon Métropole is the most recent, having opened in January 2026. Our facility is located at the MJC Laennec Mermoz, right next to Mermoz Pinel station on metro line…
