APF France handicap is France's largest organization, recognized as being in the public interest, dedicated to defending and representing people with disabilities and their loved ones. Founded in 1933 and known until April 2018 as the Association of Paralyzed People of France, APF France handicap today brings together nearly 100,000 stakeholders: members, elected officials, employees, volunteers, service users, and tens of thousands of donors and supporters. APF France handicap upholds humanistic, activist, and social values and pursues a project of general interest: an inclusive and solidarity-based society. The organization works toward equal rights, citizenship, social participation, and free choice of lifestyle for people with disabilities and their families.
