Our association brings together people with disabilities, their families, and able-bodied individuals. A pioneer in the field of disability, the association was founded in 1933 by four young people with poliomyelitis who faced a society where nothing was planned or adapted for them. Outraged by this exclusion and determined to break the isolation experienced by people with disabilities, they created their own solutions and services, encouraging people with disabilities to do the same, to "risk the impossible" according to the motto of one of the young founders, André Trannoy. Founded on humanistic values of respect, openness, and solidarity, advocating equality and living together, we have been working for ninety years: - defending the rights of people with disabilities and their families, - fighting against the discrimination and prejudices they face, - combating loneliness, - supporting them daily in all areas of life (accessibility, education, employment, health...), throughout France.
