Founded in February 2020, the Martinique Association for the Defense of Companion Animals works to rescue, rehabilitate, and find adoptive homes for abandoned cats. The first action of AMDAC Martinique was the opening in July 2020 of Martinique's first private shelter: the CAT HOUSE. More than 120 cats are at the shelter, and they require daily care, food, and cage cleaning.
