Mission description

Join one of Oxfam France's twenty local volunteer groups in major cities to participate in campaigns and advocacy work. As a member, you'll engage in local mobilization activities alongside motivated citizens committed to climate and social justice. You'll receive training and support to organize local actions and events as part of a dynamic, united volunteer community.

Oxfam France - Groupe Local de Lille

Oxfam France est membre de la confédération Oxfam, une organisation internationale de développement qui mobilise le pouvoir citoyen contre la pauvreté. Elle travaille dans plus de 60 pays afin de trouver des solutions durables pour mettre fin aux injustices qui engendrent la pauvreté. En France, Oxfam mène depuis 30 ans des campagnes de mobilisation citoyenne et de pression sur les décideurs politiques. Elle contribue également aux actions humanitaires d’urgence et aux projets de développement du réseau, en collaboration avec des partenaires et des alliés dans le monde entier. A travers la France, une dizaine de groupes locaux de bénévoles relaient les campagnes et le plaidoyer d’Oxfam France ; avec les magasins solidaires de l’association, ils forment le réseau territorial. Être bénévole dans un groupe local d’Oxfam France, c’est rejoindre un groupe de citoyen-ne-s motivées, qui sont convaincu-e-s que le collectif et l’action peut faire bouger les lignes ! L’engagement bénévole est varié, dans ses missions, long-terme ou plus ponctuel.
