I contribute to caring for young Alpine Swifts being raised at Tichodrome
Le Tichodrome Centre de sauvegarde de la faune sauvageMission description
Being a volunteer at Tichodrome helps wild animals, particularly Alpine Swifts, which arrive in large numbers at wildlife care centers. They nest under roofs where summer heat becomes extreme during heatwaves, causing them to lean toward nest holes for air and fall onto sidewalks where people find them. They can't be returned to inaccessible nests and need care center support. Feeding requires specific techniques. With 100-200 swifts arriving each summer, we organize dedicated swift teams, and your help is essential.
