Mission description

Teach the basics of sewing, develop participants' creativity, and foster friendly exchanges. Running sewing workshops at the Bel Air Sociocultural Center creates a space for meeting, exchange, and solidarity among neighborhood residents. Sewing is an accessible activity that promotes creativity, independence, and mutual support. The workshop also showcases individual talents, combats isolation, and strengthens community bonds. You will lead sewing workshops to teach participants the basics using the available machines and support each participant individually.
