La Société Protectrice des Animaux (la SPA)Mission description
The Animal Protective Society has worked for 180 years to protect animals through its network of shelters, clinics, investigators, Young Clubs and anti-trafficking unit. The SPA seeks volunteers interested in an association role to teach young people about animal respect and protection. Through its Young Clubs, the SPA educates ages 11-17 about animal protection. Under supervisor oversight, young people participate in various missions helping the shelter: walking dogs, animal care (physical activity, brushing, socialization). Beyond routine care, education-focused activities are undertaken.
