I welcome young children and parents at a Parent-Child Reception Center

Mission description

A Parent-Child Reception Center is a play, meeting and discussion space for children under 4 years old and their families (prospective parents welcome!). Two hosts ensure a serene, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Free, anonymous, no registration required. As a volunteer host, you will: Welcome families and children aged 0-4 and create a climate of trust. Attend mandatory monthly meetings on Wednesdays from 1-2:30 PM. Listen to the needs of parents and children present while respecting discretion and confidentiality. You will work in pairs with a staff member. Regular commitment expected.
