I participate in a workday to remove invasive exotic plants

Mission description

We're organizing 6 participatory workdays this year at Lac des Ilettes to fight the spread of non-native invasive species: Japanese knotweed, butterfly bush, goldenrod, and more. An educational guide will be provided about plant identification and management schedules. Take active, concrete action near home to fight biodiversity collapse on a site with major ecological importance, while meeting engaged citizens and enjoying a convivial time! Local biodiversity is in danger. Following actions in 2024 and 2025, we continue our mobilization in 2026.
