I build community by co-facilitating artistic practice workshops

Mission description

I facilitate artistic practice workshops for people with limited access to culture. Discovery workshops invite participants to become creators of art in all forms—dance, reading, theater, painting, cinema, etc.—without prerequisites. With volunteer support including someone knowledgeable in the chosen art form, participants can express themselves, support each other, and regain or strengthen confidence and self-worth. After an introduction to the workshop theme, you'll facilitate or co-facilitate artistic discovery workshops for people experiencing isolation.
