I teach English to unaccompanied migrant minors awaiting schooling

Mission description

I teach English classes to young migrant minors. These young migrants are eager to learn and very endearing. They will then be enrolled in school. This phase facilitates their integration into primary or secondary school. At Secours Populaire in Lyon we support unaccompanied minors (UMs) during their wait for minority recognition (between 6 and 14 months). We're looking for a volunteer to teach English classes once a week in the afternoon for 1 to 1.5 hours maximum, beginner level. You don't need to be a certified teacher, just willing to work as part of a team.
