I volunteer at the Bois Vert Social Grocery in Ploërmel

Mission description

The Bois Vert Social Grocery provides food assistance to Ploërmel residents referred by social workers. In 2024, nearly 20 tons of food were distributed to 70 weekly beneficiaries. Volunteers work Tuesdays and Thursdays in two shifts: mornings collecting unsold items from supermarkets and orders from the Food Bank, sorting and stocking; afternoons assisting beneficiaries and restocking shelves.
