Mission description

Welcome people with Alzheimer's disease and related conditions, proposing and participating with them in various activities such as board games, memory workshops, themed outings, music therapy, and animal-assisted therapy. Volunteers should have empathy, patience, and good humor. Don't be intimidated by the word Alzheimer's—our afternoons are joyful and friendly. The people we welcome are still active, and despite memory challenges, they're happy to attend and participate in all available activities. Our work is important for families—it's a moment of relief where they can take a break.
