I help organize international mobility programs for young people (ages 15-18)

Mission description

American Field Service (AFS) is a nonprofit present in about 60 countries that promotes intercultural and linguistic exchanges. Volunteers help organize stays for foreign youth participating in mobility programs in France and prepare French youth for international experiences. These stays last 2 to 10 months and are integrated into school curricula. Young people are hosted by volunteer host families. Volunteer activities include: prospecting volunteer host families, conducting home visits with potential host families, and ensuring program quality.
