Mission description

The Secours Catholique's Family Vacation Welcome (AFV) allows children from age 6 onwards to access vacations through a family willing to 'share their vacation'. This program complies with Youth and Sports regulations for welcoming minors, primarily during summer breaks. Being a vacation host family means giving a child living in material and/or relational precarity the chance to enjoy privileged time for rest, leisure, and exchange, and allowing a family to grow through meeting, welcoming, and sharing with a child.
