Mentoring is an interpersonal supportive relationship based on mutual learning, fostering autonomy and development through evolving, adapted objectives. You can become a volunteer mentor whether you're a high school or university student, employee, civil servant, job seeker or retiree living in Lille. Benevolence, listening, sharing, trust, humility and reciprocity are essential values. The mentoring relationship typically lasts about 6 months, and mentors receive pre-mentoring training.
