I commit as a Scout or Guide Leader

Mission description

Leaders, minimum age 17, supervise in teams of 3-4 units of about twenty mixed Scouts and Guides ages 8-16 from all backgrounds and religions. In an age-appropriate manner, you support them with confidence in discovering group life with a strong commitment to nature discovery and respectful coexistence. As an educator, leaders follow recognized BAFA training, covered by the group as recognition of volunteer commitment. Throughout the year, activities average 1 day or 1 weekend monthly (6 camping weekends annually) plus about 2 monthly planning meetings. Summer camp lasts 1-3 weeks depending on age group.
