Mission description

Novastan France aims to bring together French and Central Asian communities around cultural and informal events to promote the region. We organize cultural events, gatherings, and conferences, mainly in the Paris region or in hybrid format. Novastan is an online media covering Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Xinjiang) from all angles: political, economic, cultural, social. We are the only independent online media specialized in these countries. We publish about 5-7 articles weekly, with our site available in French, German, and English.

Basé à Paris et Berlin, Novastan a été fondé en 2011 à Bichkek (Kirghizstan). Il est devenu en juillet 2018 un média associatif en France et en Allemagne. En mars 2020, l'association Novastan France a été reconnu comme éditeur de presse en ligne par les autorités françaises. En tant que média associatif, Novastan est tout autant un média qu’une association. Autant que nous publions des articles et informons sur l’Asie centrale, nous organisons des évènements pour rapprocher la région des Français.
