Mission description

Escales Solidaires spreads its participatory inclusion approach by building together and delights in this human enrichment it wishes to expand with diverse people sharing values of equality, positive regard for "living together that promotes individual and collective well-being." Volunteers provide a reassuring and caring presence with residents in the group living home, supporting staff, in daytime, evening, or Saturday hours. They may work in a team with staff, other volunteers, or alone, but always with access to phone contact with the general coordinator, board members, or staff. Residents can rely on their presence.
