I accompany children on a day trip to the seaside in Deauville

Mission description

Presentation of the mission. Every year since 1979, the French Popular Relief organizes the "Forgotten Vacations Day" in August for children who didn't have the chance to go on holiday during summer. This large-scale operation allows thousands of children from Paris and the Paris region who couldn't go on vacation to enjoy a day in the open air by the water. Between smiles and splashes, these are precious moments for children who often missed out on summer break activities. On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, we will organize one of the major events for the 90th anniversary of paid leave: the Forgotten Vacations Day. This day is planned in Deauville (Calvados).
