Support adults over 16 with illiteracy individually or in small groups to help them restart learning mathematical concepts useful in daily life (calculation, money use, proportions, etc.). Adults with illiteracy were schooled in French but now lack sufficient "basic skills" to be autonomous in daily activities. The goal is to reconnect them with learning, rebuild confidence, and create security in returning to learning that was often experienced as difficult. Workshop arrangements are agreed upon between volunteer and learner.
